Grinch Crostini

This crostini is in fact just like the Grinch! A little salty, sour, and sweet at the end! An easy Christmas appetizer that comes together in minutes! Looks great added to a charcuterie board or on its own display!

What you need

crostini

bunch fresh basil

tbsp honey

pt cherry tomato

tsp kosher salt

tbsp brine

tsp pepper

cup pepperoncini peppers
tbsp garlic
Instructions
Heat the olive oil in a large saute pan, over medium heat. Add the garlic to the pan, saute for a minute, then add in your cherry tomatoes. Let them simmer until they start to soften and break down a bit, about 7 minutes. Then season with salt and pepper, stir gently. Then add in the pepperoncini brine, let the tomatoes simmer in the brine for another 2-3 minutes. Turn off the heat and drizzle the honey over top, toss gently to incorporate. Remove from heat and let mixture cool slightly. Top the crostini with tomato/pepper mixture, top with fresh basil and serve.View original recipe
