Crockpot Honey Sesame Chicken

What you need
tsp fresh ginger

tsp pepper

lb skinless boneless chicken breast

clove garlic clove

tbsp honey

tbsp water
tsp salt

tbsp cornstarch

cup low-sodium soy sauce

tbsp light-brown sugar
Instructions
Add the chicken breast to the crock pot, sprinkle salt and pepper over the chicken. Add the rest of the ingredients to the crockpot and flip the chick with tongs to coat. Turn the crockpot on high and let it simmer for 3 hours. At 3 hours remove the chicken from the crockpot. Shred chicken breast with the help of two forks. Dissolve 1 tbsp of cornstarch in about 3 tbsps of water then add the crockpot, stir, add shredded chicken, cover, and let it cook on high another 15/20 minutes to thicken the sauce. Serve the shredded chicken over rice with broccoli. Or noodles tossed in the sauce from the crockpot. Add chopped cucumbers, or edamame to the bowl if desired.View original recipe
