What you need

cup crème de cacao

cup sweet cherries

cup brandy

cup granulated sugar
Instructions
Add the brandy, water, creme de cacao and sugar to a small saucepan and heat over medium until it comes to a simmer. The sugar should be dissolved and the heavy alcohol smell faint, about 6-7 minutes. Let the mixture cool for a minute or two. Fill two pint jars with the pitted cherries. Carefully pour the brandy syrup over the cherries until the cherries are covered with the liquid. Put lids on the jars and store in the refrigerator if not using right away.View original recipe
