Sweet, Spicy and Savory Cherry Tomato Jam

One way to keep your summer cherry tomatoes a little longer, turn them into this sweet, spicy and savory jam. Then make sure to use it to top a thick slice of Italian bread, a crispy chicken cutlet, or with pasta. Now bring on the holiday recipes! 😍

What you need

tbsp balsamic vinegar

tbsp kosher salt

tsp honey

pt cherry tomato

tsp black pepper
Instructions
Add the tomatoes, vinegar, honey, chilli flakes, pepper and salt to the saucepot. Stir to combine and bring to a boil. As the tomatoes heat up they will blister, press down gently with a spatula to help them burst along the way. Reduce the heat to a simmer and allow to cook for about 30 minutes until the ingredients have thickened and turned into a jammy texture. Remove from heat. Allow to cool and then transfer to a small jam jar or glass container with a lid. Seal and store in the fridge and enjoy as you wish for up to two weeks.View original recipe
