What you need

tsp salt
tbsp unsalted butter
sea bass fillets

slice lemon

tsp kosher salt
tbsp fresh parsley

clove garlic clove
tbsp capers

tsp black pepper

tbsp olive oil
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). 2. Place the sea bass filets on a parchment sheet-lined baking sheet. Pat them dry. 3. Season the filets with salt and pepper, then drizzle olive oil over the top. 4. Top each filet with two slices of lemon. 5. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for about 25 minutes. The cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of your filet. You want the fish to be flaky and for the internal temperature to measure 145 degrees Fahrenheit (63 degrees Celsius). 6. While the fish is cooking, prepare the pan sauce. In a small sauté pan, melt the unsalted butter and add 1/4 cup olive oil over medium heat. 7. Once the oil is warm (about 1 minute), add the lemon slices and let them sauté for two minutes. 8. Add the capers and sauté for another minute. 9. Add the thinly sliced garlic and sauté until fragrant. 10. Lower the heat, season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste, and let everything simmer together for a minute more. 11. Turn off the heat and add the chopped fresh parsley, stirring gently to incorporate. 12. Spoon the pan sauce over the cooked sea bass filets and serve immediately.View original recipe
